How to make an SVG for Cricut
- Click Start a cut file, then design with shapes and type, or place an image and trace it.
- Outline all text and merge overlapping parts with Window › Pathfinder › Unite so the machine cuts one outline.
- Remove strokes. Cutters follow paths, so give shapes a fill and no stroke.
- Export SVG for Cricut Design Space, or choose File › Export › Export As… and pick DXF for Silhouette and laser software.
