Turn a PNG or JPG into a vector (SVG)
Image Trace converts pixels into editable vector shapes, so a fuzzy logo can be scaled to any size. Works best on logos, icons, line art and simple illustrations.
Vectorize an image No sign-up. Files never leave your device.
How to vectorize an image
- Click Vectorize an image and open your PNG or JPG (or place it into a new document).
- Select the image and choose Object › Image Trace › Make…. Pick the Black and White Logo preset for line art, or 6 Colors / 16 Colors for flat-colour logos.
- Fine-tune Threshold, Paths, Corners and Noise in Window › Image Trace, then choose Object › Image Trace › Expand to get editable paths.
- Delete the background shape if needed and export as SVG, PDF or EPS.
