Design a logo in a vector editor
A real logo should be vector so it stays sharp from favicon to billboard. Build it from simple shapes, combine them with Pathfinder, and add a wordmark.

How to design a logo
- Click Start a logo. A 1000×1000 artboard opens.
- Build the mark from basic shapes (Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon) and combine or cut them with the Pathfinder panel (Unite, Minus Front, Intersect) or the Shape Builder Tool.
- Add your name with the Type tool. When it's final, Type › Create Outlines so it looks the same everywhere.
- Export SVG and PNG with File › Export, and save PDF or EPS for print with File › Save As.
Tips
- Design in black first; if it works in one colour, it will work in any.
- Test it at 32 px, the size of a browser tab.
