Change a photo's background colour

Put your subject on a clean, solid colour. You cut out the subject, then slide a colour fill layer underneath, which you can change any time.

How to change background colour

  1. Click Change background colour and open your photo. The subject is selected automatically.
  2. Choose Layer › Layer Mask › Reveal Selection to hide the old background.
  3. Choose Layer › New Fill Layer › Solid Color, pick a colour, and drag the new layer below your photo in the Layers panel.
  4. Double-click the fill layer's thumbnail to try other colours, then export.
