How to remove a green screen
- Click Key a green screen, import your footage and the new background, and put the background below the footage in a composition.
- Apply Keylight (or Color Key) from Effects & Presets to the footage and pick the green with the eyedropper.
- Raise Screen Gain or clip black and white in the matte view until the background is solid black and the subject solid white.
- Add Spill Suppressor to remove green edges, then render.
Tips
- Evenly lit screens key far better. Light the background separately from the subject.
