How to add text to a video
- Click Add text to a video, import your footage and place it on the timeline.
- Use the Type tool on the Program monitor to add text; it appears as a graphic clip above your video.
- Style it, and drag the clip's ends to set how long it shows. Add Cross Dissolve to fade it in and out.
- Press Ctrl/Cmd+M (File › Export › Export) to open the Export page and export.
